Today is 2nd July. But if you told me it was 4th November, I’d believe you. It’s raining again and – after dragging out the BBQ on Sunday – we’ve gone and put it away again. What were we thinking? That summer had come?

Yesterday, while the sun was out briefly, I skipped off to my favourite holiday shop, Biondi Couture in Chelsea. Founded by my friend Claudine, the boutique (and its stunningly redesigned website) is a perfect place to pick up any swimwear, beach dresses, sandals or wedges and that big floppy hat before jetting off into the sunset.
