Last week, while visiting a friend, I noticed she had a lamp to match the décor of every room in her home. (Her home is immaculately decorated so I’m often stealing ideas when I drop by!).

An interior designer by profession, she explained her love of the British classic Anglepoise lights. For over 70 years, these lamps have been a firm favourite in the UK and their table lamps remain true to the original design, whilst simultaneously incorporating modern updates.

A little googling to check costs and I found this Type75TM Mini lighting for £85. Perfect size for the Smalls’ bedside tables but with heavy base to avoid tipping. I particularly like the satin matt paint finish…
